Some adorable pups get ready for their close-up and ticket to stardom in the “Santa Paws” movies. So, I have a question for all of you? Have you seen the movie, Santa Paws 2: The Santa Pups that was released not too long ago? (Loved it, didn’t you?) If so, then you’ve seen the great actor- Josh Feldman exhibit his talent in the movie as “Carter Reynolds”. Josh Feldman does a magnificent job in any project he partakes in and has gain himself recognition for his other roles such as in the video short, “The Sleepover”, “Insidious”, “General Hospital” and lots more! Emily Smith-Dungy has the determination, the competitive streak, and loads of jump-roping trophies on her shelf; but one thing Emily Smith-Dungy (played by actress Olesya Rulin) doesn’t have is the support from her family at her big jump-roping state championship. With the lack of her family’s attendance at her significant competition, it’s as though that was the straw that broke the camel’s back; and Emily Smith-Dungy decides there is only one hope in reuniting her family- taking them hostage and re-educating them to bring them closer together.
“Family Weekend” which comes out to theaters in limited release on March 29, 2013 is truly a movie the whole family will enjoy. “Family Weekend” brings together an all-star cast and crew who graces the big screen with such charm. The movie features the talent of Olesya Rulin (Emily Smith-Dungy), the consummate actress Kristin Chenoweth (Samantha Smith-Dungy), profound actor Matthew Modine (Duncan Dungy), Joey King (Lucinda Smith-Dungy), Eddie Hassell (Jackson Smith-Dungy), Robbie Tucker (Mickey Smith-Dungy), Shirley Jones (GG), Chloe Bridges (Kat), Chase Maser (Chris), and many more. The work of director Benjamin Epps, producers-Adam Saunders (who also starred in the movie as “Rick”) and Chris Aronoff, and writer- Matt K. Turner was terrific and made the movie so realistic and one in which families all over can relate to.
Having covered and attended the “Family Weekend” NYC special screening on March 21, 2013; I can say that I enjoyed the movie from start to finish. Each cast member and crew did a spectacular job and each of their contributions to the film made it the wonderful film it is today. One of the most fantastic elements of the movie is the message of the film. “Family Weekend” helps families realize that the most important thing in life is family and the care, love, and support for one another.
I very much recommend families all over to go and see “Family Weekend” in theaters. It’s a wonderful film with an all-star, excellent cast and crew that families will definitely appreciate! I have no doubt that “Family Weekend” will become another house-hold name.

Alexisjoyvipaccess: You look amazing, absolutely stunning as always! Olesya Rulin: Thank you!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: So can you tell us about your starring role in the movie, “Family Weekend”?
Olesya Rulin: Yeah! I play Emily Dungy and she is a competitive jump-roper, which is a sport; and she’s so intense in her love and passion for jumping and her family doesn’t come to her big state championship; so she decides to take drastic measures, tie them up and teach my parents to be better parents. It’s an intense, dark comedy full of laughter and a lot of heartfelt moments!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Excellent! So do you have a specific favorite scene from the movie?
Olesya Rulin: Ooh! You know what, there was one of the scenes I actually did not like shooting- is one of my favorite scenes in the film! There’s no dialogue, it’s just a close-up of me jump-roping and they pull out and we’re in front of this beautiful frozen lake and I’m on a dock practicing; and it was so cold that day that like the camera guy had a blanket on him, everyone’s in parkas and I’m standing there like half naked in this little jumping suit; but artistically and when it comes to the movie and the photography was beautiful!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: You least expect it! Olesya Rulin: I know right! The entire time I’m like “Can it be over?”
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Before this film, did you need any training with jump-roping or you were pretty good yourself?
Olesya Rulin: No, no- it’s such a competitive, intense sport; I trained for four months with a professional trainer in LA and she got me the physique of a jump-roper and then I trained the duration of the film with the olympic jumping team which is based in Michigan; so I jumped everyday and on my day-off and with the rehearsals with the team, it was intense; I will never jump-rope again! It was intense; but it’s not for me! I was like, “Oh my gosh, I don’t know how they do it!”
Alexisjoyvipaccess: So lastly, if you could bring out one message to all your fans, what message would that be?
Olesya Rulin: Wow! This question is so deep, I’m always like- there’s so many things I would tell you, I guess- thank you so much for supporting me through all of these years! You guys have changed my life and shifted my life in ways that I can’t explain so thank you, thank you. I am enternally grateful! And also that, I guess what I’ve learned from my career is failure is a wonderful thing. It teaches you lessons and it opens doors you never thought would open and kind of embrace it and don’t take it so hard! Be like, “Okay, well that happened- Next!” and move on. It helps me the most!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Well I couldn’t agree with you any more! And I will definitely keep that in mind whenever something happens so thank you so much for talking with me and I look forward to seeing you on the big screen tonight!

Adam Saunders: Yeah! I produced the movie and I also play the role of “Rick” in the movie so, very excited about it, it’s been a long journey and we’re happy to be here tonight!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Excellent! What is it like for you seeing yourself on-screen; but also seeing the work that you produced?
Adam Saunders: Well it’s a very different job! The acting part is the fun part. It’s a very short; producing took two years and the acting part took two weeks so that’s the really fun part; but overall I love producing, that’s the work that makes sure the movie gets made.
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Definitely! So lastly, if you could bring out a message to all your fans and viewers, what message would that be?
Adam Saunders: Come out and see the movie! Tell all your friends and go see “Family Weekend”!

Lily Lane: Well next month I’m coming out with my new single it’s called, ” Nothing But Trouble”. I can’t announce what show yet; but it’s gonna be on a tv show I think we all love and I’m really excited. We just shot the video in New York last month and I’m so excited! It’s definitely a new sound. It’s more old-school but definitely fun, definitely something everyone’s going to love!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: I’m so excited! So can you tell us who some of your musical inspirations are?
Lily Lane: Yeah, absolutely!! I love Amy Winehouse and Joss Stone and of course, Christina Aguilera; and just any girl with big voices, I love!!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Like you have an amazing voice as well! So, if you could bring out one message to your fans, what message would that be?
Lily Lane: Just thank you so much for all the support and thank you for being patient! I know it’s been a while since I’ve had music out; but I’m just trying to make it as amazing as I can for you guys!

Deph Naught: Yeah! We just really get in a circle, me and my hype-man right here; and we kind of just pow-wow just a little bit, make a simple prayer; and get ready to go!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Nice! So we can count on you doing that tonight? Deph Naught: Probably!! Absolutely!!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Great! So you were also in Degrassi; and I know I love Degrassi, and I’m sure all your fans and viewers love Degrassi. Can you tell us what it’s like on set of Degrassi?
Deph Naught: It’s probably the best set ever!! I’ve done a couple of other projects as well; Degrassi, there’s no set quite like it. It’s been on for so long, it’s been on for like 20, 20 plus years, 30 years- maybe even more! And the machine is so well oiled that it’s just very professional, everyone’s friendly, great working environment!!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Definitely! So you’re character on Degrassi, do you seem like you have any similarities with your character?
Deph Naught: Well he’s a prideful guy, his name is Owen Milligan, he’s a prideful guy; so I’d say I’m the same way. He’s really dead-set on his ideas; and I’d say I’m the same way! But other than that, he’s kind of a jerk, he’s kind of a jerk!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: So lastly, if you could bring out one message to all your fans watching, what message would that be?
Deph Naught: I love you guys!! Probably wouldn’t be here without you so if you’re here tonight go crazy, if not, I’ll catch you on the next one!

Ryan Ochoa: Well, it’s kind of a secret! Kidding! Robert Ochoa: That’s a good question! Pre-show rituals we just huddle up together and give each other a motivational speech about the show, make sure it’s going to be good. Rick Ochoa: Thank everybody for the opportunity that they give us and what we have and that we get to do this as brothers and family. Robert Ochoa: Yeah, and just have fun, you know! Ryan Ochoa: We all love football so it’s almost like a football huddle!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Oh, nice! So you guys are obviously brothers, what made you decide to form a group together?
Ryan Ochoa: Being on Disney, I always had that choice. All these Disney kids sing, but I wasn’t for that, I wanted to stick with acting; so it started to be like, we have brothers, we have something; so we were like, “Do we sing?”; but we don’t really sing, so we’re like okay, we like rap music, we love dance music; dance music is like the next big thing right now like LMFAO (that’s like our inspiration). Rick Ochoa: I think it’s more because we all act and like you can’t be in a movie or together all the time; but music we can, we can perform. Ryan Ochoa: Yeah, but we have fun and that’s the most important thing!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Yup, that’s the most important thing! So lastly, can you tell all your fans some upcoming projects you have with your music?
Raymond Ochoa: Actually, we just got this one! I have a movie coming out! I got a new movie it’s called “Charlie: A Toy Story”, it pops out April 2nd! Ryan Ochoa: Yup! World-wide premiere, we just found out!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Wow! Congratulations! Raise your hand if you’re going to see it, I’m seeing it!
Rick Ochoa: Music wise, you can look out for today, we have a brand new song! Robert Ochoa: We got a few performances coming up next month!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: That’s so exciting! So your fans can stay tuned for that!
Rick Ochoa: Yeah, we keep it rollin’!
Alexisjoyvipaccess: Yeah! Some hard-working teens we have here!
